In the first two modules, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of the course. You’ll learn about the tools I’ll be using, including a brief Procreate tutorial to get you started. We’ll dive into the basic anatomy of the human head, focusing on proportions, and understanding where and why facial features are placed. This knowledge will give you the ability to draw a human head in various positions and create characters from your imagination.

Drawing Eyes and Noses
In these modules, you’ll learn the crucial elements of drawing facial features starting with the eyes and noses. The human eye is key in portraiture, full of expression and depth. You’ll learn how to sketch eyes, add shading, and create highlights to bring them to life. Next, we’ll focus on the nose, teaching you the techniques for sketching, shading, and defining its structure to achieve a realistic result.
MODULE 5-7
Drawing Lips, Ears, and Hair
In these modules, you’ll learn how to sketch, shade, and detail key facial features that complete your portraits. We’ll start with the lips, focusing on their structure and shading techniques to express emotion and depth. Then, we’ll tackle the ears, breaking down their anatomy and placement, so you can draw ears that enhance your portraits. Finally, we’ll explore the art of drawing hair, teaching you how to capture its texture, volume, and flow with realistic shading, adding life to your character.
